About Jazz In The Alley
Jazz in the Alley is a live outdoor music concert series that features some of the best and talented jazz artist from Atlanta and surrounding cities. We are a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience, offering free live jazz concerts that are fun for all ages. Our mission is to share the joy of jazz with the world and to provide a unique music experience that can’t be found anywhere else. Brought to life in the summer of 2013, JITA was created to be a platform for all jazz artists for exposure in sharing their music to the cities of Georgia and to keep the art of jazz alive within our communities. The City of Norcross is an annual proud sponsor along with annual sponsors and supporters that help to make this free jazz concert series a success for the past 10 years and counting. We are also proud to have been featured in the City of Riverdale, GA from 2021-2023.
Along with vision and hard work of Event Director, Ziggy Warfield, JITA has become one of the most sought-after jazz events held in the state Georgia. The annual summer series/concerts have gained local notoriety from artists and jazz enthusiast of all ages – our JITA Fans. At Jazz in the Alley, you’ll be immersed in the music and culture of jazz while enjoying the great atmosphere of outdoors.

Experience jazz at its best as the jazz tunes take over Betty Mauldin Park located in Historic Downtown Norcross, GA. JITA Fans are encouraged to bring their picnic baskets, lawn chairs, savory snacks, and beverages. Also, local eateries and food trucks/vendors will be jazzing things up with some to-go chef specials that will help make Jazz in the Alley the perfect date night, family night, or a girl’s night out. Come join us and experience a truly unforgettable night of music.
